There is nothing much more rewarding then hearing the stories of the Happy Homes, our precious saved souls are now enjoying.
To submit your story, please go to our FORMS tab in the menu and click on the " Happy Homes Update " form, tell us your wonderful stories and hit submit. To include pictures you will need to email those individually to giveadogahome.maine@gmail.com and they will be included when we upload your Happy Home Update!

Henry came to me as a very scared, timid little guy who needed a lot of patience and understanding. But it was worth it! Henry is such a great snuggle bug and he and his brother love each other so much. Henry has also made other human friends including grandma and grandpa. And our neighbor. He loves kayaking and hiking and zooming while mom is in the shower. He gives his brother a nightly bath then snuggles in with mom. He's everything I wanted when we decided to add him to our family. I'm so glad he found his way to us. 6 years later he's living his best life and finishing up his hike 50 miles fall challenge.

We adopted Murphy shortly after losing my 14 year old Malti-poo due to health related issues. Murphy adjusted to his new home quickly with lots of love and care. He did have some health issues upon adoption, although those were quickly taken care of. I can't tell you how loved he is because there are just not enough words. Here is a picture of before he was adopted and how he lives his daily life today.
