HENRY was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services on 22nd March 2015. He was with his sibling KELSEY and his mother KENSIE.

HENRY was very fearful when I picked him up, he even tried to bite me when I went to lift him up, but with some affection he soon settled. At the rescue he was still fearful but after being amongst the other terriers that we have in rescue he soon started to relax. Over the next few days his confidence grew, although he is not a hugely confident pup, he is getting better and is venturing outside on his own a lot more and starting to play with the other pups. He is also now realizing that I am not evil and will come up to me for some love and fuss waggling his tail.

HENRY wants to be super affectionate and as with his confidence is getting better each day and I"m sure that by the time his perfect family find him he will be a happy confident pup, albeit will most likely always be wary of people at the initial meet up, but with love and affection he will soon warm up.

HENRY will benefit from a family that is familiar with small breed dogs and who has the time to train and spend time with him to teach him and guide him in what is expected from him. He will benefit from basic and advanced training from the family so that he and the family can learn from each other in regards to personality, body language and temperaments.

HENRY is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, he is too young for heart-worm treatment, but has been on prevention since being at the rescue. He is also micro-chipped. HENRY has an estimated date of birth of 20 January 2015 and at the time of rescue weighed around 6.3 pounds.

HENRY is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $300.
