JAX was saved from Fort Worth Animal Care and Control Kill Shelter.
JAX had been adopted from the shelter but was returned the next day (less than 24 hours) for being "too needy".
JAX is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, heart-worm tested negative, de-wormed and micro-chipped. He has an estimated date of birth of 19 July 2012 and at the time of rescue weighed only 35 pounds.
JAX was severely matted and so his foster mum took him to the groomers where his matts were found to be so bad, he had to be completely shaved down. He was very well behaved at the groomers and everyone fell in love with his charm.
JAX went to his temporary foster home and met his human young sister, rabbit and other dogs. JAX settled in well, got on with the other dogs, although he does growl at them when he wants to be left alone He seems to prefer dogs his own size. He loves to snuggle and be close to his humans and enjoys the more laid back, mild personalities and life-style.
JAX would benefit from an active family who understands the terrier personality and the their needs.
As with all dogs, especially rescue dogs, he will need basic and advanced obedience and this is always best done with her new family so all can learn each others personalities, body language, expectations and boundaries for all can be set
JAX is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $450.
If you are interested in adopting this stunning girl and giving him the life he needs and deserves our application can be completed and submitted on our website under the APPLICATION tab.

JAX is in one of our foster homes located in Dallas, TEXAS. Transport to the east coast is available for an additional $175 that is paid directly to the transport company. We post in states along the east coast and Canada as this gives our precious saved souls more exposure and once adopted, we are able to save more dogs from the kill shelters in Texas that get 3 days before they are killed.
