BARLEY was saved from Fort Worth Animal Shelter in Texas. He was transported from Texas to Sebec, Maine and arrived at the rescue on 12th August 2015.

BARLEY is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, lepto vaccine, de-wormed, heart-worm tested negative and micro-chipped. He has an estimated date of birth of 9 July 2011 and at the time of rescue he weighed around 22pounds.

BARLEY is a super-sweet boy, who is happy to just hang out and watch the world go by, but he also likes his moments of fun, as you can see in the video of him playing with his room-mate KEEVA. BARLEY can be a little cautious of people initially, but soon warms up and he loves his treats.

BARLEY would love a family that is relatively active, that will take him with them on road trips, hikes or nice relaxing long walks. He also enjoys relaxing watching the world go by cuddled up next to his humans. He is great with other dogs from small dogs, to German Shepherds and i comfortable being among them all. I do not know how he is with cats, as we do not have cats in the rescue.

BARLEY is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.

This may come at an additional cost to the adopter
