MICHO was saved from Dallas Animal Services, Texas and was transported up to the rescue in Sebec, Maine arriving on 29th July 2015.
MICHO is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed and micro-chipped. He has an estimated date of birth of 21 February 2015. At the time of rescue he weighed around 35 pounds.
MICHO and his brother MILO are both young, very happy, very energetic, full of life, full of love and full of that young pup curiosity. They are constantly playing together and whenever they get the chance up to puppy mischief. MICHO is still very mouthy and loves to tug on your trouser leg, or hand. Although he has had no training he is very responsive.
MICHO will need a family that has a lot of time and dedication to give this handsome boy. He is eager to learn and will be a lot of fun to train and work with. He will need a family that can give him basic and advanced obedience training to keep his mind challenged and to learn some manners and of what is expected of him and of course what to expect of his new humans.
MICHO would benefit an active family that like to go on car rides and walks / hikes to different areas, letting him take in the smells, sights and sounds that the world has to offer. MICHO does jump up a little due to his excitement and although an easy fix with training, he should be watched around small children in case he accidentally knocks them over. We do NOT have cats in the rescue and so cannot comment on his behaviour around cats.

MICHO is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $450
The rescue is located in Sebec, Maine and we welcome families making appointments to come and meet and spend time with the dogs. If this is not an option we can work together on getting the dogs transported to you, which may result in additional costs, but we work hard to keep these at a minimum.
