LENNY was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services on 11th April 2015. He was an owner surrender and so could have been killed at any time.

LENNY does have some sores around his neck, eyes and face, but antibiotics are working and clearing him up and he is healing nicely.

When I brought LENNY back to the rescue he was very fearful of the other dogs and even in a crate in my bedroom he would cry. Over the first few hours I introduced him to the other dogs, but had them keep their distance and within less than 24 hours, he was happy being outside with them doing his own thing.

LENNY doesn't really play with the other dogs, he doesn't mind being amongst them, but is not one to run around playing. This may change over time as he gets used to being with them.

LENNY definitely likes his human company and will try and sit with me as much as he can. At night he lies close to me, tucked up either in the small of my back or in front of my legs. He is most definitely happy being a lap-dog for sure.

LENNY is very sweet and we do not know what happened to him, but we know it wasn't his fault and that he deserves a family that will give him the love and care that he deserves.

LENNY is house and crate trained, I do have a dog door, but he tends to follow me outside when I go out to spend time with the dogs playing.

LENNY is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, heart-worm tested negative and micro-chipped. He has an estimated date of birth of 2 April 2013 and at the time of rescue weighed around 10 pounds.
