CLARICE was saved from Fort Worth Animal Services on 5th February 2015. She was an owner surrender for reasons I do not know. She had been in isolation recovering from several wounds, suspected to be bite wounds.
CLARICE came to rescue and has been doing great, her wounds have healed and she is an all round happy girl. She is very affectionate and gentle. CLARICE is great with other dogs and is happy to sit back and watch the world go by.
CLARICE is a young girl who would benefit from an active family. Someone who understands the needs of this intelligent breed, who understands that they need lots of stimulation and both mental and physical exercise. If they are left alone for long periods they get bored and boredom can and will turn into destructive behaviour.
CLARICE is very responsive and I believe would be very easy to train and would absolutely benefit from some basic and advanced training with her new family so that boundaries and expectations can be set, and through the training, bonding and understanding of each others body-language can be gained.
CLARICE is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, heart-worm tested NEGATIVE and mirco-chipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 30th June 2013 and at the time of rescue weighed 66 pounds.
CLARICE is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $170.
We do allow out of state adoptions, using reputable transportation companies.
