GaDaH was contacted by Humane Society, Houston to see if we could help them with some German Shepherds they had owner surrenders. Plenty of people were interested in them, but they wanted them as back-yard/guard dogs.

IZZY had been an owner surrender to the shelter as her family could not handle her anymore. They had said she was bought from a breeder, but had no papers.

IZZY is a stunning young girl, her date of birth given of 23 July 2013. She is spayed, rabies, up to date on her vaccines, heart-worm tested NEGATIVE and de-wormed. IZZY currently weighs around 64 pounds.

IZZY is a very lively energetic girl, that has had little-no training in basic manners. She is a full on girl and will need a family that has a very active life, that can give her both the mental and physical stimulation that she needs. IZZY is great with children, the only concern would be that she might knock them over whilst she is running around.

IZZY is great with other dogs, at first she is full-on with them, but here at the rescue a few dogs have let her know this isn't acceptable and she is calming down a little.

IZZY is a very smart girl, who will excell with the right family, one she can respect and who will give her all that she needs. Any kind of training, agility, or "work" would be beneficial to IZZY.

We do allow out of state adoptions, however, the adopting family must cover the transport cost also.
