*** MEYHA has HIGH PREY DRIVE for SMALL ANIMALS!

MEYHA was saved from Longview, TX where she had been found very emaciated. She is a stunning girl, with a unique look of having one blue eye and one brown eye.

MEYHA is very responsive and automatically sat when I got treats out, she is very alert and has a high energy. MEYHA is a high energy dog who loves to run and play and have as much fun as she can in one day. She is great with the other dogs, but can get a bit of a bully when she is initially running around and starting to release her own energy, but it is more of trying to get the other dog to play with her.

MEYHA would suit an active family that has time to do things with her, she would excel in any activity that she is trained, or allowed to do and enjoy. She is lots of fun and is an all round happy dog. At night she likes to lie as close to my bed as she can and always greets me with a kiss.

MEYHA is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, de-wormed, heart-worm tested negative and micro-chipped. She has an estimated date of birth of February 2013.

MEHYA came with a report from the shelter that she has a high prey drive for small animals - this includes small dogs, cats and wildlife. Due to this MEYHA MUST always be kept leashed whilst out and under no circumstances be allowed near small animals, even if she is leashed, it is not fair on her or the other animal. Her prey drive is a natural instinct and is nothing she should be punished for and so keeping her away from potential "prey" and secured fenced yard must be agreed to. Apart from barking up a tree at squirrels with the rest of the dogs, I have not seen her have this prey drive, we do not have cats at the rescue and only medium sized dogs which she has no interest in!
