GaDaH was contacted by Cleburne Animal Services asking if we would take in this beautiful girl.

NIKE is a complete love bug, she has got on great with the other dogs of all sizes, from 90 pound GSDs to 7.5pound pom mixes, although does like to keep me for herself. I believe this is because she has not had much love and attention so far in life and she is liking getting it, so she wants to keep it all for herself - who can blame her.

NIKE weighs around 60-65 pounds and could easily gain another 10 pounds as she is still very thin. NIKE walks ok on a leash but a with all dogs that we save from kill shelters, they would always benefit from obedience training, which is also a huge part of bonding.

NIKE is well mannered and doesn't jump up. She has not shown any aggression and would make a fantastic addition to any active, loving family that can give her the physical AND mental exercise that the German Shepherd Dog needs.
