ADELA was saved with his siblings from Lockhart Animal Shelter.

She is a very sweet, happy, playful young girl who is just waiting for his perfect family to find her. ADELA is a confident playing and running with dogs and pups of all different sizes. She will need someone who can give her the training and understanding she needs to be a beautiful well mannered dog, since her confidence could easily get the better of her. ADELA is very affectionate and with the correct guidance will be wonderful to train and see her progress into the stunning girl that she is. She absolutely LOVES to give kisses and is happy to cuddle up close.

ADELA has an estimated date of birth of around 16th January 2014. She weighs around 50-55 pounds. She is spayed, rabies, current on her vaccines, de-wormed and micro-chipped. She was heart-worm and tick-borne disease tested on 3rd October 2014 and tested Negative for all.

ADELA is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $150. Our application can be found under the application tab.

Although located in Texas we are using Rescue Road Trips LLC., a highly reputable animal rescue transport company to re-locate our dogs from rescue to meet their families along the East Coast (This allows us to save more dogs from the high rate kill shelters here in Texas). This is a private company and their transport fee (which is paid directly to them) is $185 per dog. This fee is in addition to what you would pay the rescue for the adoption fee.
