About LANCE - $300 | |

LANCE was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services - Kill Shelter with a severe case of sarcoptic mange and skin bacterial infections. Since this is contagious, LANCE has to be isolated from the rest of the dogs so as not to spread this horrible infection. Luckily for LANCE, isolation is in my bathroom with a mesh pen across the door, so he can still interact with the pac visually, verbally and of course hearing.
LANCE after his first week of treatment really came out of his shell, no doubt due to not being in the discomfort and pain that he has been in. He is quite the vocal pup, chatting away to the other pups especially when they are all playing, it is clear he can't wait to join in.
By the end of December 2013, LANCE will look like a different dog. A good portion of his hair will have grown, and he will be happily playing with the GaDaH pack.
LANCE is available for adoption, however, will not be released until he has recovered, this doesn't mean that all his hair has grown back as this might take considerable time, but once he has tested negative for any mange and clear on bacterial infections.
LANCE's adoption donation is $300.
GaDaH does allow out of state adoptions, however, the family must travel to San Antonio, to spend time with the dog to make sure personalities are a good match before traveling home together.
