HARLEY was saved from Fort Worth Animal Care Services. He had been hit, dragged and run over and left for dead.
HARLEY was taken to a vets local to the shelter and received extensive surgery having a plate the length of his pelvis, one in his face, one in his lower jaw and one in his upper jaw.
Despite the horrific pain and suffering, HARLEY always kept the sweetest temperment. HARLEY stayed in Fort Worth with one of our GaDaH representatives until he had healed from his surgery.
About 6 weeks after surgery HARLEY was given the all clear by the vet and was brought down to live with the pack, and hopefully find his perfect forever family.
HARLEY doesn't let anything phase him, at the shelter he let the resident cat share his gruel, with the pack, he just sits back and watches the commotion with the puppies and then gets up and goes off to do whatever it is he wanted to do. He will come up for some love and cuddles, but not be imposing.
In the cold weather, I have noticed him hold his leg up, so it is important to keep him warm and out of drafts since he had so much surgery.
HARLEY deserves a family that will spend lots of time with him, not too much of a hustle and bustle but I do think he would enjoy a family environment with or without children.
HARLEY's adoption donation is $300
