About DAKOTA | |

DAKOTA has had a really rough life in his first few months of life. Whilst living with his family, most likely as an outside puppy, he developed some abscess on his elbows and so his owners were going to SHOOT him.
Saved and treated, DAKOTA is doing great, he is healthy and happy and even our vet had said if he hadn't had so many dogs himself he would adopt him.
DAKOTA is a very playful boy, he can get excited and vocal, but is very responsive. He has been to several adoption events and loved all the fuss, was very well behaved and was great with the children when they went into the pen to play.
DAKOTA is hoping to find a fun loving family that will let him be himself but teach him good manners and behaviour. He is wanting to find his own family that he can love and devote his life to.
DAKOTA spent an afternoon at a rehabilitation day care for mentally challenged children and adults and he was perfect, although a large boy at over 80 pounds, he is extremely gentle and none aggressive. DAKOTA is a great size for anyone need any kind of mobility support for adults or children and his calm laid back personality compliments it perfectly.
DAKOTA is neutered, rabies, DHPP, de-wormed, micro-chipped and Heartworm/tick disease tested negative. His estimated birthday is March 2013.
DAKOTA is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350
