All pets adopted out will be spay/neutered, micro-chipped, Heartworm tested, rabies and relevent vaccinations.
NO DOG WILL BE ADOPTED TO BE AN OUTSIDE DOG!
Monthly Heartworm preventative, and monthly flea/tick preventative must be administered throughout the course of the dogs life.
The adoption donation of dogs may vary. Please check out each individual dogs information for the minimum donation amount.

Anyone wanting to adopt a German Shepherd MUST have knowledge about their needs. These are very intelligent dogs that need lots of exericse, both physically and mentally.
Please discuss and consider if you are now, and will be in the foreseable future, in a financial position to provide to the dogs needs, unexpected vet bills, and common health issues specific to the breed.
Please note, any "curtousy post" is just that, GaDaH knows nothing about that individual animal, however, will pass on your enqury to the rescue that has the pet.

Stunning Distemper Survivor
CLEO was born at GaDaH on 14th December 2012. Her mother a Pure Bred German Shepherd Dog. Sadly the pups had distemper and 2 of the siblings were lost. All pups received the distemper serum and antibiotics and did well.
CLEO, is the largest of the females, but equally affectionate, She loves to come for cuddles and to play, but is more than happy romping around outside with either the big dogs or the other puppies.
CLEO knows how to use the dog door, and does go outside the majority of the time on her own, something she and her siblings have learnt from being with the other dogs. I have not kept them in a crate they have had free roam, and do use the puppy pad most of the time. Although since she has never been trained, I am guessing that at times she does have accidents, I say I'm "guessing" as with so many pups I just can't tell. If I am at home, the patio door is open and they will go outside, she will just need a little more guiding and she will pick it up in no time.
CLEO has had no training, she wears a collar, but has not had any leash training, so the family that is lucky enough to adopt this wonderful pup will have plenty of training which = bonding that they can enjoy together.
CLEO will be having her vaccines around 8th April and hopefully scheduled for spay, rabies and microchipping around 12th April. CLEO will then, should everything go well, be ready to go to her perfect forever home.
