PUDDING was saved from Animal Care Services, San Antonio, Kill Shelter. She was 3 weeks old, and was missing her mum. Although very noisy initially, after a few days of living amongst the pack, she soon settled down and ensured she was always cuddled up close to either a dog, or my feet.
PUDDING is a very sweet young puppy, she has lived amongst both puppies and adults and will not be bullied about. She is very affectionate and always wants to be where I am, and she will climb over the gate to get to me if she has to. She is a very agile, intelligent young puppy.
PUDDING was spayed on 12th March and will be going to have her stitches out and rabies vaccine around 26th March, it will be after this time that she will be available for adoption.
PUDDING is a very smart young puppy and will require not only a lot of physical exercise, but also the mental stimulation too, training, games, long walks to new places, to stimulate the senses, and of course as much interaction as possible. She will be easy to train, as she is willing and eager to please, however, the basic sit, down and stay will not be enough - GSDs have a great mind (think of all the jobs these dogs can do)
PUDDING is going to need a family that has the time to spend with her, and teach her rights and wrongs, GSDs bond very closely with their family and must be treated as one of the family. Ideally PUDDING would not be the only dog, since dogs are pack animals, they do best when there are more than one of them, however, if a family is active and has plenty of time, love and affection then she will do just fine.
PUDDING's adoption donation is $250, however, if she was adopted with another GaDaH dog/puppy, then a $50 discount per dog will be applied. This will of course only happen if the family is sure they can afford the expense of two amazing dogs.
