POLO was saved from Fort Worth Animal Shelter in Texas. She was transported from Texas to Sebec, Maine and arrived at the rescue on 12th August 2015.

POLO is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, lepto vaccine, de-wormed, heart-worm tested negative and micro-chipped. She has an estimated date of birth of 17 January 2013 and at the time of rescue he weighed around 12 pounds.

POLO is a cute, affectionate, loving little girl, although she has that big-dog-attitude and can be a little bit of a bully with the other smaller dogs, but not to the point where she is aggressive. She just likes to be the boss! POLO is fun and of course loves to snuggle on your lap and enjoy having her ear scratched and belly rubbed.

POLO is confident around other dogs of all sizes and is happy walking among the German Shepherds. She does walk good on a leash, although as with all dogs would benefit from basic and advanced obedience training. She shares her accommodation with NIBBLES and DIVO two other small dogs and is in charge but they all play and are happy together.

POLO would be great for a family that is small dog experienced and understands small dogs with those big dog attitudes.

POLO is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue for an adoption fee of $350.

The rescue is located in Sebec, Maine, 04481 and we do prefer if families can travel up to meet the dog before taking them home to start their new lives, however, we do understand that this is not always possible and will work with you in finding suitable transport to get them to you. This may come at an additional cost to the adopter
