CLOVIS is currently being fostered in Connecticut. CLOVIS had been adopted and traveled to the East Coast, but sadly the families small boy had a severe asthma attack and so the family are unable to keep him, so he is once again looking for his perfect forever home. The family had said he was a great boy and a complete gentleman and are upset at having to give him up!

CLOVIS was saved from San Antonio Animal Care services the day before he was due to be killed. This boy is just ALL Loving.
I believe he was previously an outside dog as he does need work on his manners, but he is learning quickly.
CLOVIS does bark a lot when I leave, but again that I believe is because he was an outside dog before with no love or attention.
CLOVIS is a great boy, he is a nice 50 pound size, he gets on well with other dogs although does try to dominate initially, but soon backs down if he is challenged, he also only just been neutered which could be the reason for this behavior and I'm sure will calm down in a few weeks/months.
CLOVIS will need some training, but his potential of being a fun, loving, energetic affectionate boy is huge. I mean just look at that smile.
CLOVIS is available for adoption through Give a Dog a Home, German shepherd Dog Rescue. Our application process and form can be found on our website.
