COOPER was saved from San Antonio Animal Care Services along with his 3 siblings at around 3mths old. He was labelled as a GSD mix, but we believe him to be more of a lab/collie mix.

Since he has grown up with the pack he is very well dog socialized and a very confident young pup. He is very energetic and loves to chase and play with the other dogs. He is very loving and affectionate and loves to have his belly rubbed and of course his ears scratched.

COOPER is hoping for an active family that is looking for a young dog that they can train, and take to lots of places letting him experience the different sights, smells and sounds the world has to offer. He does need some training although he does walk happily on a leash.

COOPER has an estimated date of birth of 28 January 2013. He is neutered, rabies, current on his vaccines. He was heart-worm and tick-borne-disease tested on 3rd October and was NEGATIVE for all. He weighs around 51-55 pounds and we think he will probably stay around this weight.

He is great with kids, as long as they respect his boundaries and understand that dogs too need time to be left alone. We do not have cats in rescue so we cannot say how he is with cats, however, he is still young and could be taught to leave them alone, she he have that "interest".
