JOLLY JANGLES was saved
from a high kill shelter in Texas where dogs have just 3 dogs to be saved and transported to the rescue in Sebec, Maine JOLLY JANGLES is neutered, core vaccines, rabies, heart-worm & tick disease tested negative, de-wormed, monthly preventatives and micro-chipped. He has an estimated date of birth of 22 January 2019 and at the time of rescue in December 2019 weighed around 42 pounds. We have no way of knowing the exact breed, it is up to individuals to decide what breed they think is most likely.
JOLLY JANGLES arrived at the rescue on Thursday, 19th December and has settled in great. He is a friendly, happy-go-lucky boy who gets along with all dogs of all ages and sizes. He is living in a communal area with around 20 other dogs ranging from small terriers up to 120 pound shepherds of both sexes. When he first arrived he was a little growly around his food, however, that quickly stopped and he shares food with all the dogs that he lives with.
He uses the dog door to get in and out and to do his business. I do not know if he would let you know if he wanted to go outside, but as with all dogs going to a new home, a transition period and accidents should be expected until he learns the new rules and routine of his new family.
Jolly-Jangles is looking for a family that is active, understands the importance of training, not just when he gets to his new home and family, but throughout his life so that he can keep his brain engaged and stimulated and not get bored. He would benefit from long walks, hikes, trips to the beach, lake, camping and all the fun things that life has to offer. He is a gently boy and deserves the love, fun, security and adventure the right family can give him.

JOLLY JANGLES is available for adoption for an adoption fee of US $550.
This fee is not negotiable and is used to cover the rescue costs of pulling, vetting, health certificate, transport from Texas to Maine, monthly preventatives, supplements, food, general day to day cost of running a brick and mortar rescue and anything else that is needed. Canadian adopters need to know that customs charge 15% taxes when entering into Canada.

ALL Dogs are LOCATED AT THE RESCUE IN SEBEC, MAINE. We post in various states along the east coast and Canada where we have had lots of successful adoptions to enable more exposure for these beautiful saved souls. Families will need to be prepared to travel to the rescue to meet and take home their new best friend. Sebec is located just outside the towns of Dover-Foxcroft and Milo (approx 8 miles) and approx 45 miles from Bangor. There are also lots of hotels, motels, pet friendly accommodations and wonderful camp-sites for the more adventurous families and what a great way to get to know your new best friend.
